I was inspired by the FOSNA conference this past weekend in Santa Cruz, and particularly by Mark Braverman's provocative words about "kairos."
KAIROS: that moment of clarity, in which it is no longer "business as usual"; that moment in which you feel an earthquake impending.
I came back and looked at what has surprised me in recent days and months, looking for clues to the answer to the question: what is the moment that we are in?
Don't speak Spanish? "Sure you do . . ." . . . if you are about immigration, refugees, human rights for people from Mexico, Central America, South America . . . . |
