Joe Scarry

I am a social justice activist and writer, currently living on Madeline Island, WI.

I grew up in New Jersey, went to college at Harvard, lived in Philadelphia for ten years, Chicago for twenty years, and then spent four years in Berkeley, before moving to my current home in January, 2019.

My career has included international trade (principally in China and other parts of Asia), web application development, and intellectual property management.

I have three children and two grandchildren.

Madeline Island

I live with my partner, Rachel, the pastor at St. John's UCC on Madeline Island. Madeline Island is in Lake Superior and is part of a cluster called the Apostle Islands. It is located about 1-1/2 drive east of Duluth, MN.
